1. Acceptance of terms
By booking an appointment, creating an account, or using any service from Physio Works LLC ("Physio Works", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of services
Physio Works offers licensed physical therapy and wellness services in Freeport, Grand Bahama. Our clinical services include orthopedic rehab, manual therapy, dry needling, aquatic therapy, and post-surgical recovery. Our wellness services include sports recovery, posture coaching, and stretch sessions delivered under the Physio Works Wellness brand.
3. Booking and cancellation
Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person. Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations and no-shows may be billed at the full session rate. Memberships and packages are non-refundable but may be paused under documented medical hardship.
4. Payment and billing
Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements exist. We accept cash, major credit cards, and most Bahamian and international insurance plans. Insurance claims are filed as a courtesy. You remain responsible for any unpaid balance, including amounts denied by your insurer.
5. Patient responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate medical history, follow the treatment plan recommended by your clinician, communicate any concerns or adverse responses promptly, and notify us of changes to your medications, insurance, or contact information.
6. Confidentiality and data protection
Your health information is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2003 of The Bahamas and applicable international privacy standards. We share your records only as needed for treatment, billing, or as required by law. You may request access to or correction of your records at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
Physio Works provides services with reasonable clinical care and skill. Outcomes vary by individual, and no specific result is guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by Bahamian law, our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Modifications to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted here. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Freeport, Grand Bahama, unless we mutually agree to mediation or arbitration.
